Kapp Kapp, Philadelphia is pleased to announce Princess Star Star and the Constant Mourners, a two-person exhibition of Penny Goring and Sophie Cundale. The exhibition includes a new body of collage-on-canvas works by Goring, which continue her study of trauma, grief, love, and anger. Historically a video artist, Cundale’s first descent into sculpture, centering around the exhibition’s titular piece, Princess Star Star, connects worlds of consumption and fantasy. Goring has exhibited at ICA, London, Arcadia Missa, London, and Tate St. Ives, UK. Cundale has exhibited at South London Gallery, London and Serpentine Galleries, London. Both Goring and Cundale live and work in London.
